just sayin

Hi there! we were both on Pete Wilson's blog yesterday. I'm glad your blog page was attached to your name. I'm the one that made the cosmetic surgery & starving kids comment. my dry sense of humor came out when people started playing the starving children card. and that people really spend time talking about such things.

this is a great blog, by the way :)

I love that you wrote this: "Actually, I don’t know what the heck I am doing. Do any of us?". In an odd way it's encouraging to me. Thanks for sharing your heart.

i found you on Pete Wilson's blog.....and our blogs are the same type! It made me smile - we must be alike in other ways too! Check mine out: www.aworshipfulheart.typepad.com. I'll be hanging out and reading to get to know you. God bless you as you serve Him with your whole heart.

Hi Kristi, I see you all over the blog world but this is the first time I've stopped in to say 'hi'. I'm looking forward to keeping up with you!

Birgit

Hi Kristi, I really like this page and what you said about just trying to love people and knowing that we are broken, selfish, used up people in need of Saviour. I really relate to all of that. What you guys are doing in PE is amazing, I look forward to reading more. God bless.

Hi there, I really love your blog- what you are sharing and how real you are. You inspired me today to be better. Praying for you on your trip- that people's hearts will be opened to this story.

Hello there! I don't comment much but read your blog all the time and just felt the push to tell you that you are an incredible motivation and encouragement to stepping out and risking to make a difference. Excellent, awesome, and keep it going!!

I found your blog through a link somewhere else. We all want to do something amazing with our lives, and Girl, you so ARE.

hey Kristi,
Thank you for your work in South Africa!! I am a South African currently studying in the States and I want to do something similar in SA in the future! I followed a couple links and landed on Anne Jacksons blog and got here from there - she posted an excerpt from your blog that was very moving.

How did you KNOW to sell everything....funny thing is hubs and I are in the process of praying through and maybe over this urge....

mary jacobus

wanted to send you an email, but can't find your email address. would you send it to me, would love to send you a note. thanks.

Stacy

I just found your blog through Pete Wilson's....and, although I haven't read much yet, I'm just wowed by the fact that you sold everything you owned and moved to S. Africa to do mission work!! I am impressed beyond measure.

Over the last year, my husband and I have actually talked about doing something like that when the kids are grown up. I'm just starting clinicals for Surgical assisting, and so I'm waiting for God to make it clear to me on how I can be of service to others in the future. I'm so not there yet. And I often wonder if I'm too selfish to give up the comforts of my life. I'm working on this!!

Take care and God bless you.
Stacy
