Random Act of Kindness
I got this in the mail a few days ago...and yeah, it is just some fun things that my friends sent but really...it is so much more. It is love, and it is friendship. It is encouragement and it is a non-existent conversation over a cup of coffee that we would have had if we were in the same city. Really it is our life line. Daniel makes fun of me all the time for being so very dramatic, and exaggerating for making stories over the top...but believe me when I say that these (not only mail) but acts of love and support are the things that keep us here on the field. I personally believe that those very same things are the things that keep all of 
us believers (wherever we are) going throughout our walks with Christ. Just Daniel and my needs are more visible out here because we are alone. It has just made me think about all of the time spent cultivating friendships and relationships back home and all of the time and money spent over that all important cup of coffee. Those are and were the most important cups of my life. So thank you family and thank you friends. I hope that you spend time today with those who you love drinking coffee (or whatever it is you do) and talking about things that are important. Because today I am thanking God for you.
